Ayurveda recommends these four amazing plant leaves to maintain good health. These simple herbs are full of spiritual & medicinal properties.

Tulsi Leaf – Known as Holy Basil, this sacred plant will purify the air in your home. Its highly Sattvic nature brings clarity of mind, opens the heart, and actually cleanses the aura of those who come in contact with it.
Medicinally it is taken to relieve cold and flu symptoms. It reduces fever, and as a bronchodilator it will clear sinus/lung congestion and Asthma.

Neem Leaf – This bitter plant works wonders inside and out. It is an anti-fungal, anti-septic, anti-inflammatory anti-viral, and anti-bacterial agent all in one! Crushed neem leaf paste is applied externally for wounds, ulcers, and most all skin diseases – rashes, hives, eczema, ringworm, acne, lice etc.
Drinking the juice of neem leaves is a potent blood purifier and its anti-parasitic action will kill off those unwelcome bugs.

Cilantro Leaf – This simple food garnish can be used as powerful medicine. Cilantro leaf chelates heavy metals such as mercury out of the body. Cilantro juice has a cooling action that brings great relief to the burning symptoms of bladder and urinary tract infections. Sipping the juice of cilantro is recommended to all those who suffer during allergy season. Externally, cilantro pulp soothes burns and itchy heat rashes.

Mint Leaf – This popular culinary herb is wonderful stress reducer. A cup of fresh mint tea has a calming, soothing effect on the nerves, relaxing the body and clearing mental tension. For an upset stomach, Peppermint is a great digestive aid. Traditional Indian meals are often served with a mint chutney for its refreshing taste, but also as an aid to fire up the digestive agni.
